You’ll have a selection of natural linens, festive fabrics and embroidery threads to create a stocking in your own style. You can choose from simple Christmas tree designs, natural foliage, holly, berries and other seasonal details.

You’ll learn how to create add a simple appliqué design, use basic embroidery stitches and finish your stocking with decorative trims, ribbons and other festive touches.

You’ll take home your unique Christmas stocking, ready to hang and enjoy for many Christmases to come.

Christmas Rag Wreath Workshop

Create your own beautiful handmade Christmas rag wreath using a mixture of festive fabrics, ribbons and natural embellishments.

This relaxed, creative workshop is suitable for intermediate crafters and is a lovely opportunity to learn how to make a full, textured wreath using simple fabric strips. No sewing machine needed.

You’ll have a selection of Christmas themed fabrics in reds, greens, creams, tartans, ginghams and natural linens, allowing you to create a wreath that suits your own style.

You’ll learn how to:
Build and fill your wreath base
Cut and attach fabric strips
Mix colours, patterns and textures
Add festive details such as pinecones, berries, greenery and ribbon

Christmas Lino Cut Workshop

Learn  how to design, carve and print your own festive lino cut.

You’ll be guided through the process from creating your Christmas design and transferring it onto lino, to safely using the carving tools, applying ink and producing your own hand printed artwork.

Choose from a selection of festive ideas such as Christmas trees, stars, holly, robins, winter landscapes and other seasonal designs, or create something completely your own.

You’ll learn how to use simple lino cutting techniques to create texture, pattern and detail, before printing your design onto quality paper.

You’ll take home your own handmade Christmas lino prints, perfect for framing, gifting or turning into unique Christmas cards and decorations.

No previous lino cutting experience is needed. This is a friendly, hands on workshop suitable for beginners and anyone wanting to develop their creative skills.

All materials and equipment are provided.

Christmas Kinusaiga Workshop

Create a beautiful Christmas Kinusaiga picture using the traditional Japanese technique of fabric appliqué, without the need for sewing.

You’ll learn how to work with a simple Christmas design, selecting and layering different fabrics to create your own festive scene. Fabric pieces are carefully tucked into the design to build up the picture, creating lovely texture and depth.

We’ll use a selection of Christmas fabrics, linens and patterned materials in festive colours, with simple details such as stars, a Christmas tree, snowy hills and holly.
