Welcome to Coast & Craft workshops & Swimming Experiences

October at Coast and Craft brings a cosy shift in energy, with seasonal workshops designed to inspire creativity as the days grow cooler. Guests can enjoy hands‑on sessions including lino cut where you'll learn the basics of carving your own linocut stamp before printing your unique designs onto fabric and card. You can then create youre own textile work of art with slow stitch fabric picture and  continue this with the art of Kinusaiga the Japanese art of fabric pictures. Complete this creative flow learning or developing the art of crochet. This will celebrate autumn colours, natural materials, and slower, mindful making. Whether you’re joining a single workshop or spending the whole retreat immersed in craft, October offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere perfect for learning new skills and reconnecting with your creative side.

 November at Coast and Craft marks the beginning of our Christmas‑inspired workshops, bringing a cosy, creative atmosphere to the sessions. You can enjoy crafting seasonal decorations, handmade gifts, and winter‑themed pieces using natural materials and gentle guidance. These workshops are designed to help you slow down, connect with the festive spirit, and create something meaningful to take home for the holidays.

 Swimming is a beautiful part of the Coast and Craft experience, with calm waters and a safe, supportive environment for all abilities. 

These guided swims our lead by experienced instructors with, local knowledge, and experience.  

Beaches used will be close to the accomodation and picked nearere the time and will be dependant on conditions at the time.

we plan to hold Octobers swims at any of the following beaches, Gorran Haven, Mevagissey, Porthpean, Polkerris and Pentewan. 

November Swims will take place at Bude, including the sea pool,  Widemouth Bay and the surrounding area.
